you must must must read the power of one by bryce courtenay. you will love it.
I must recommend to you “Stolen Lives: Twenty Years in a Desert Jail” by Malika Oufkir to you. It’s a wonderful story about a woman and her family who are locked up by the royal family of Morocco.
If you like lighter things check out Augusten Burroughs or David Sedaris.
Noted Elle and they’re going on the Chapters wish list momentarily. I love recommendations. I’ve been trying to incorporate a synopsis on the blog for some time. Keep the recommendations coming. Thanks.
Into The Wild – I loved his spirit – and his letter to the old man – powerful words.
I have read over a thousand books. Many have left an impression on me. Very few have I read twice. The 3 I have read twice are, ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’-Alexander Dumas, ‘The Worthing Saga’-Orson Scott Card, ‘The Boat of a Million Years’-Poul Anderson…Enjoy Your journey, and Vaya Con Dios….The Old Cowboy…:)
