Project Carpe Diem is a blog about my journey to discover life through the seven year completion of my bucket list. It all started with two questions, “What are you passionate about?” and “If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?” Both questions dumbfounded me and left me to reassess my priorities. This blog chronicles my progress and travels around the world.
My hope is to invoke change in people, all things are possible with the right mindset. We are often inundated with negativity by strangers and worse yet, our friends. When the dust settles, I’m going to be a thirty-five year old with three lifetime’s worth of memories, friends and great experiences. My journey begins today!
I welcome you to join me and feel free to start your own journey. The honour would be mine to hear your stories and experiences. Nice to meet you, I’m Carpe Diem Que.
“The samurai must maintain his faith in his beliefs, even as the social or political climate shifts and alters. He must be patient, must act in a manner that may at times seem irrational or illogical, must resist the temptations of instant gratification, and must work towards fulfilling what may seem to be an impossible idea. As a result, the samurai is often something of an outsider, a rebellious figure because he refuses to conform to the habits of the day.”
